Our Story
Established in 1974 by Kenny Easton, our family-run business has built a strong, robust portfolio through dedication and commitment to ‘Making Things Better’ across the community – driven by our intrinsic family vision and values.
Based in Dundonald, Ayrshire, the Easton Group focus on three core areas of activity: residential housing, commercial property, and private equity investments. In addition to Kenny, Sons, Peter and Steven, and Daughter, Joanne, are at the heart of the business and cover all aspects of the daily operation from strategy, stakeholder engagement to property development, supported by their growing team.
With an entrepreneurial culture and growth mindset across the business, the Easton Group are always looking for opportunities to grow their housing and property portfolio, whilst supporting emerging businesses and entrepreneurs to make their dreams a reality through Easton Capital intervention.

Our People
Kenny Easton
Chairman
Kenny is Chairman of the group and leads the strategic growth and development of the business. He founded the Easton Group in 1974 when he first started out and hasn’t stopped since. Kenny has a passion for business and enterprise, and enjoys working with colleagues, clients, and partners to deliver successful outcomes across the organisation.
Peter Easton
Senior Director
Peter is a Senior Director with overall managerial responsibility, and focuses on operations and growth across the business. He has considerable experience in building construction and operational delivery, and enjoys developing positive commercial solutions for challenging projects. Peter is passionate about doing deals and creating business opportunities across the group, and loves bringing different people together to achieve mutually beneficial results.
Steven Easton
Senior Director
Steven is a Senior Director with overall managerial responsibility across the group, with a particular focus on finance and strategic development. He has considerable experience in commercial and residential property, and is passionate about the green economy and reducing carbon emissions through energy efficiency. Steven enjoys working with our portfolio businesses to help them achieve their growth ambitions and delivering the group’s charitable objectives.
Joanne Easton
Director
Joanne is a Director with a specialisation in residential property management, and is passionate about people, property, and design. She strives to ensure that our tenants receive the highest standards of service, and that we build positive relationships in all the communities in which we work. Joanne understands the importance of empathy and ensures that the opinions and priorities of all stakeholders are fully considered in our decision making.
Lyn Thoms
Office Manager
Lyn is an Office Manager and supports a wide range of functions linked to our operational and investment objectives. She has worked with the Easton Group since 2002, and has extensive knowledge and experience of our organisation’s activities. Lyn likes working for a family run business that retains a personal touch, and enjoys helping new businesses let commercial space from us, providing continuing support on their journey from fledgling business idea to thriving enterprise.
Aynsley Barclay
Property Manager
Aynsley is a Property Manager and works across our commercial and residential property portfolios. She has worked with the Easton Group since 2016 and has broad knowledge of housing and property matters, and is qualified in Residential Letting and Property Management. Aynsley enjoys the challenges that come with working in such a diverse industry, where no two days are the same, and she is passionate about exceeding client expectations, ensuring they receive the highest quality of service.
John Simpson
Maintenance Manager
John is a Maintenance Manager who leads a team of building specialists across our property portfolios, managing our reactive repairs service and refurbishment programmes. He joined the Easton Group in 2022 and brings over twenty years of experience in facilities management to the role. John always strives to ensure that our tenants receive the highest standards of service possible, and enjoys working with everyone across the business in a friendly atmosphere.
Daniel Deary
Assistant Property Manager
Daniel is an Assistant Property Manager and works in our property management team. He has been with the Easton Group since 2022 and his role includes providing secure tenancies and affordable homes to the families we support, and actively managing positive long term tenant relationships. Daniel enjoys building healthy partnerships with our clients, and is passionate about delivering a first class and transparent service that is reflective of our group’s vision and values.
