Green Home Systems

Green Home Systems’ mission is to eradicate fuel poverty and end climate change by making our communities energy efficient and carbon neutral, and it does this by creating warm, healthy, and happy homes. It is a leading provider of domestic energy efficiency services including thermal insulation, smart heating systems, renewable energy technologies, and electric vehicle charge points.

The business was founded in 2014 by Easton Group directors, Peter Easton and Steven Easton, and in 2020 a 50% stake was sold to Circularity Capital, a private equity company that specialises in the circular economy. The business is now jointly owned by Circularity Capital and Easton Capital, and operated by an independent senior management team with ambitions for continued growth in the green economy.

Holyrood Distillery

Holyrood Distillery is a modern distillery in the heart of historic Edinburgh. Inspired by its surroundings, and never afraid to experiment, it is dedicated to shaping the spirit of tomorrow. Holyrood produces an exceptionally flavoured single malt whisky alongside its award winning Height of Arrows gin.

In 2018 Holyrood Distillery completed a £5.8 million equity fundraise to drive the creation of a distillery and visitor experience spanning twelve thousand square feet in the heart of Scotland’s capital city. Easton Capital invested alongside a consortium of private investors, and in 2019 Holyrood began distilling the first single malt whisky in Edinburgh in almost 100 years, with its inaugural single malt released in 2023.

Edinbarnet Nursing Home

Edinbarnet House was once the ancestral home of the Mackenzie family and is located within the picturesque setting of stately trees and formal gardens. Having been completely renovated, extended, and developed into a first class care home, Edinbarnet offers safe and comfortable surroundings for residents who are supported by qualified and experienced healthcare practitioners.

Edinbarnet Nursing Home is one of Easton Capital’s oldest investments, and since 1986 the business has continued to perform exceptionally within the healthcare sector, delivering for residents and staff through the prioritisation of comfort, wellbeing, and respect.

Ardgowan Distillery

Ardgowan Distillery is located on the Ardgowan Estate near Inverkip, west of Glasgow, and its new distillery and visitor centre is due for completion in 2024. It currently produces blended malts through its Clydebuilt range, and its vision is to produce a flagship seven-year-old lowland single malt whisky with a maritime influence.

In 2021 Ardgowan Distillery raised £8.4 million in equity funding to support the development of its new distillery with capacity to produce one million litres per year. Following a seed funding round in 2017, Easton Capital increased its investment in 2021 alongside a consortium of private investors.

Cheeky Chompers is an award winning and trusted global brand that produces stylish and innovative baby essentials that make parents’ lives that little bit easier. It has sold more than 1.5 million products worldwide, and has over 1,500 retail partners in 49 countries.

In 2019 Easton Capital participated in a £470,000 funding round to support further development of the business and help drive its growth plans.

Cumulus Oncology

Cumulus Oncology is a cancer therapeutics development company. Based in Edinburgh, it is Europe’s first biotech creation studio and drug discovery accelerator specialising in oncology. Cumulus takes a fresh approach to drug development as both the parent and creator of multiple spin-out companies.

Originally founded in 2017, Cumulus raised £9 million in 2023 to support its ambitious growth plans and accelerate the development of new treatments from discovery towards clinical proof of concept. Easton Capital participated in the investment round alongside the Scottish National Investment Bank and a consortium of private investors led by Eos Advisory.
