Height of Arrows Gin wins Gold Award

Month: January 2025

Easton Capital backed Holyrood Distillery has won a gold award for its unique and inspiring Height of Arrows gin bottle design.

Holyrood Distillery’s Height of Arrows gin has won gold at the IESC design awards. The award was made in recognisition of its sea glass colour and distinctive flask shape that reflects Holyrood’s boundary-breaking approach and location in the shadows of Arthur’s Seat.

The name “Height of Arrows” is a nod to Ard-na-Said, the Gaelic name for Arthur’s Seat, the hill which sits in the centre of Edinburgh, which at 251m was said to be the maximum height an archer could fire an arrow.

Holyrood opened in 2019 in a former railway building in Edinburgh’s Southside area, near the famous natural landmark Arthur’s Seat. Founded on an ethos of experimentation and pushing the boundaries of traditional spirit making it has released its own whisky range alongside its award-winning gin.
