Steven Easton brings a wealth of entrepreneurial experience and leadership to the position. As the owner of both Easton Group and GHS Group, he has built a strong track record in driving business success, operational excellence, and economic investment within the region.

In his new role as President, Steven will work closely with local businesses, stakeholders, and community leaders to strengthen Ayrshire’s business landscape. His focus for the two-year term includes supporting economic growth, fostering collaboration among local enterprises, and expanding opportunities for skills development and regional employment.

One of his first tasks as president was to welcome the finalists and guests to the 2026 Ayrshire Business Awards that took place on Friday 2nd October 2026 at Ayr Racecourse.

As part of this integration, Green Home Systems has joined our Andrew Wright Windows manufacturing site at 9 Telford Place, Irvine to create a new centralised operational headquarters for GHS Group – bringing all our teams together under one roof to build on nine decades of Scottish craftsmanship and heritage.

Founded by industry expert Alan Marno, who brings over 30 years of specialised experience to the venture, Atlantis Tiles aims to redefine the local tile and stone market. The business is launched with significant investment and strategic backing from Easton Capital, signaling a robust growth plan for the brand across the region.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Tuesday 18th August, led by East Ayrshire Council’s Provost Claire Leitch. Welcoming the vibrant new business to the community, Provost Leitch praised the investment in the local area and the addition of high-quality retail space to Kilmarnock’s town centre.

The launch event was exceptionally well attended, bringing together local business people, interior designers, contractors, and council representatives. Guests were invited to explore the beautifully curated displays, showcasing everything from large-format porcelain slabs and intricate mosaic accents to durable outdoor paving and luxury finishes. Staff were on hand to offer tailored design guidance and present the latest global tiling trends.

With a focus on exceptional craftsmanship, durability, and contemporary style, Atlantis Tiles aims to become one of Ayrshire’s premier destinations for renovation projects big and small. The showroom is built around inspiring displays, helping customers visualise exact textures, finishes, and layout patterns for their bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.

Atlantis Tiles curates an exclusive collection of high-end porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone surfaces. The new Kilmarnock showroom has been designed to provide an immersive experience, helping homeowners, architects, and interior designers find sophisticated solutions for both residential and commercial projects.

The transaction marks a major milestone in the continued growth story of Green Home Systems. Co-founded in 2014 by brothers Peter and Steven Easton, the Irvine-headquartered company has established itself as one of the UK’s fastest-growing clean-tech and home improvement businesses. The business was recently ranked 39th UK-wide, and 2nd in Scotland, in The Sunday Times Hundred list of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies after scaling revenues to £17 million.

Circularity Capital’s backing provided valuable institutional support during a key scaling phase for the business. Bringing ownership back under the founders’ control reinforces Easton Group’s long-term commitment to leading the green transition, tackling fuel poverty, and driving sustainable property upgrades across Scotland and the UK.

Easton Capital will continue to deploy resources to support Green Home Systems’ expansion across domestic, public sector, and commercial decarbonisation markets.

Neupulse is a neurotechnology company pioneering non-invasive neuromodulation solutions to improve quality of life for people living with neurological and mental health conditions. Combining neuroscience and user-centric design, Neupulse develops wearable technologies that deliver effective and drug free solutions.

The investment round will allow Neupulse to scale sales and support its path to market, product development, regulatory progress and early commercialisation, to ensure the company’s technology reaches individuals who need it most.

Nami develops high-performance miniaturised ultrasonic scalpels. Its platform has been engineered for integration into articulated, wristed surgical robotic instruments, addressing growing demand for compatibility with next-generation robotic systems. The robotic-assisted surgery market is forecast to reach over $25 billion by 2030.

Nami Surgical has also appointed Nikki Palfrey as CEO while completing its latest investment round. Nikki Palfrey, who has been a Non-executive Director at Nami since 2023, brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the MedTech sector, leading businesses such as Summit Medical and BOWA Medical UK through growth, transformation and global expansion.  As CEO, Palfrey will lead Nami’s commercial strategy and partner engagement as the company progresses towards market entry.  Co-founder Dr Nico Fenu moves to the COO role at Nami, the University of Glasgow spinout he founded alongside CTO Dr Rebecca Cleary in 2021.

Easton Group has announced the acquisition of the assets, business and goodwill of Andrew Wright Windows following its sudden closure earlier this year. Andrew Wright Glass Limited and Andrew Wright Windows Limited entered provisional liquidation on 6^th August 2025 with their immediate closure and the loss of over 80 jobs.

Following the acquisition, the business will operate within the Easton Group corporate structure but continue as an independent brand to preserve the continuity and heritage of its long-standing legacy in the Scottish glazing industry. The deal will also resurrect a significant number of jobs as the company resumes operations at its factories in Irvine.

Andrew Wright manufactures and installs windows and doors to the domestic market across Ayrshire and the West of Scotland. It was founded in 1937 and its heritage includes glazing the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow and being the main glazing contractor during the British Empire Exhibition in 1938. It reglazed Belfast after the Blitz, and pioneered quality and innovation by introducing the Stuga automated high output cutting machine to Scotland.

Peter Easton, Director at Easton Group, expressed his commitment to restoring the business. “Andrew Wright Windows is a name synonymous with quality and service in Scotland, and its recent collapse was a huge blow to its staff and the industry. We have been monitoring the situation closely and believe there is a strong future for the business, and our goal is to get it back on its feet as quickly as possible so we can retain and preserve its legacy.”

The acquisition aligns with Easton Group’s strategy of investing in and developing good quality businesses. Steven Easton, Director at Easton Group, highlighted the potential for growth. “We see tremendous value in the Andrew Wright brand and its reputation. We are confident that with our operational expertise and investment, we can resurrect the business and drive it forward. For us, this is not just a commercial venture, it’s about preserving a vital part of Scotland’s manufacturing heritage and contributing to the local economy. Andrew Wright traded successfully for many years under family stewardship, and we are proud to return it to family ownership and help it blossom once again.”

The Easton Group is an Ayrshire based family business established by Kenny Easton in 1974, and now led by sons, Peter and Steven. Their portfolio includes residential and commercial property investments, and trading businesses such as Green Home Systems that was founded by Peter and Steven in 2014. Green Home Systems is an energy efficiency home improvement specialist that featured in the 2025 Sunday Times Hundred list of the UK’s fastest growing companies and received the British Chambers of Commerce Planet Saver Award in 2023. We have achieved spectactular growth over the last few years, including increasing our revenues from £6 million to £17 million in a single financial year.
